What is Network RTK? Network RTK consists of a number of CORS, or Continually Operating Reference Station, bases that are linked via a central server. This server communicates survey-grade RTK positioning to the machine using cell networks.
Why is Network RTK better than other 'networks'? Other 'networks' consist of clusters of single point reference stations that are not connected to one another. This means accuracy decreases the further away you are from a base. In contrast, Network RTK uses multiple bases simultaneously to give more consistent positioning correction. Network RTK is a dynamic solution that involves two-way communication between the console and the central server, continuously updating correction as the vehicle moves through the paddock.
